surah Ahqaf aya 30 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَابًا أُنزِلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ﴾
[ الأحقاف: 30]
46:30 They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey said to them: O our people, we have heard a book that Allah has revealed after Moses, confirming the previous scriptures revealed by Allah.
This book that we heard guides to the truth and it guides to a straight path, which is the path of Islam.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They said: "O our people! Verily! We have heard a Book (this Quran) sent down after Musa (Moses), confirming what came before it, it guides to the truth and to a Straight Path (i.e. Islam).
phonetic Transliteration
Qaloo ya qawmana inna samiAAna kitaban onzila min baAAdi moosa musaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi yahdee ila alhaqqi waila tareeqin mustaqeemin
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They said, "O our people! We have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what came before it: it guides (men) to the Truth and to a Straight Path.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They said: "O our people! Verily, we have heard a Book sent down after Musa, confirming what came before it, it guides to the truth and to the straight path."
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
46:30 They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book translate in arabic

Our people , they said, We have just heard a recital of Allahs revelations from a Book revealed in succession to the Book sent down to Mussa. It is in harmony with, and declaring the truth of, all Divine Books sent down before it; it is a spirit of truth guiding into all truth and to the path of safety and righteousness

(46:30) They said: 'Our people, We have heard a Scripture revealed after Moses, verifying the Scriptures revealed before it; it guides to the Truth and to the Straight Way. *34
They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book meaning
*34) This shows that these jinns had already had faith in the Prophet Moses and in the Divine Books. After hearing the Qur'an they felt that it gave the same teachings as the former Prophets had been preaching. Therefore, they believed in this Book forthwith and also in the Holy prophet who had brought it.
