﴿لَهُم مِّن جَهَنَّمَ مِهَادٌ وَمِن فَوْقِهِمْ غَوَاشٍ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 41]

English - Sahih International

7:41 They will have from Hell a bed and over them coverings [of fire]. And thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

For these people who rejected the truth, because they were too proud, is a bed of Hell to lie on, and above them is a covering of torment.
This is the way in which Allah rewards those who overstep His limits through their disbelief in Him, and through their turning away from Him.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

Theirs will be a bed of Hell (Fire), and over them coverings (of Hell-fire). Thus do We recompense the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).
