surah Waqiah aya 46 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنثِ الْعَظِيمِ﴾
[ الواقعة: 46]
56:46 And they used to persist in the great violation,
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey used to persist on disbelief in Allah and the worship of idols instead of Him.
