﴿وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ﴾
[ الحجر: 47]

English - Sahih International

15:47 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

I removed what was in their chests of enmity and envy.
They are brethren beloved to one another, sitting upon thrones and looked upon one another.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

"And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.

WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity).

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And We shall remove any deep feeling of bitterness from their breasts. (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.

(15:47) We will remove from their hearts even the little bit of spite that will be therein, *28 and they will become like brethren, and sit face to face on couches.

And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so meaning

*28) That is, "If any spite might have been caused in their hearts in this world because of misunderstandings between the pious people, it shall be removed at the time of their entry into Paradise and they will bear no ill-feelings there against each other."
