surah Al Isra aya 49 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَقَالُوا أَإِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا وَرُفَاتًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 49]
17:49 And they say, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected as a new creation?"
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe idolaters said in denial of resurrection: When we die and become bones and our bodies decompose, will we be resurrected again? This is impossible.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And they say: "When we are bones and fragments (destroyed), should we really be resurrected (to be) a new creation?"

Waqaloo aitha kunna AAithaman warufatan ainna lamabAAoothoona khalqan jadeedan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They say: "What! when we are reduced to bones and dust, should we really be raised up (to be) a new creation?"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And they say: "When we are bones and fragments (destroyed), should we really be resurrected (to be) a new creation"
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

They say in wonderment: Do you mean that after we have been reduced to bones and dust we shall be restored to life and be created anew

(17:49) They say, "What ! shall we really be raised up again into a new creation, when we are reduced to bones and dust?"
