﴿قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا﴾
[ نوح: 5]
71:5 He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishNoah said, “O my Lord! Indeed, I called my people to Your worship and oneness, continuously, day and night.
”
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He said: "O my Lord! Verily, I have called my people night and day (i.e. secretly and openly to accept the doctrine of Islamic Monotheism).
phonetic Transliteration
Qala rabbi innee daAAawtu qawmee laylan wanaharan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day:
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: O my Lord! Verily, I have called to my people night and day,
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
