surah Muminun aya 61 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿أُولَٰئِكَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 61]
23:61 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThose possessing these lofty characteristics hasten towards good deeds, and beat others in performing them.
That is why they surpass everyone else.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
It is these who race for the good deeds, and they are foremost in them [e.g. offering the compulsory Salat (prayers) in their (early) stated, fixed times and so on].
