surah Hud aya 80 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ آوِي إِلَىٰ رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ﴾
[ هود: 80]
11:80 He said, "If only I had against you some power or could take refuge in a strong support."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishLot said that if only he had strength to use against them or people to support him, then he would be able to come between them and his guests.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He said: "Would that I had strength (men) to overpower you, or that I could betake myself to some powerful support (to resist you)."
phonetic Transliteration
Qala law anna lee bikum quwwatan aw awee ila ruknin shadeedin
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He said: "Would that I had power to suppress you or that I could betake myself to some powerful support."
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: "Would that I had strength to overpower you, or that I could betake myself to some powerful support."
