Verse 87 from surah An-Nahl

﴿وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ﴾
[ النحل: 87]

English - Sahih International

16:87 And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

The idolaters will surrender and submit to Allah alone and all their fabricated claims that their idols will intercede for them before Allah will disappear.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And they will offer (their full) submission to Allah (Alone) on that Day, and their invented false deities [all that they used to invoke besides Allah, e.g. idols, saints, priests, monks, angels, jinns, Jibrael (Gabriel), Messengers, etc.] will vanish from them.

Waalqaw ila Allahi yawmaithin alssalama wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

That Day shall they (openly) show (their) submission to Allah; and all their inventions shall leave them in the lurch.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And they will offer (their full) submission to Allah on that Day, and what they falsely invented will wander away from them.

Nay, there will be none who will come forward and say, "These. are my dependents: so no action should be taken against them".
