Cos' hanno dunque, che non credono

So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe,

- Non inviammo mai un profeta in una città, senza colpire i suoi abitanti con disgrazie
- Di': “Se il mare fosse inchiostro per scrivere le Parole del mio Signore, di certo
- di saggezza dotato, che compostamente comparve:
- Non è forse vero che, nella loro calunnia, dicono:
- Chi pensa che Allah non darà la vittoria [al Suo Inviato] in questa vita e
- a Faraone, Hâmân e Qârûn. Essi dissero: “È un mago, un impostore”.
- Diranno, disputando tra loro:
- [Sarà detto loro]: “Mangiate e bevete in serenità, [ricompensa questa] per quel che avete fatto!”.
- poiché invero sono esclusi dall'ascolto.
