Se davvero fossero soddisfatti di quello che ricevono da Allah e dal - sura At-Tawbah Versetto 59

﴿وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوا مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَاغِبُونَ﴾
[ التوبة: 59]

Se davvero fossero soddisfatti di quello che ricevono da Allah e dal Suo Messaggero, direbbero: “Ci basta Allah! Allah ci darà della Sua grazia, e così il Suo Messaggero ancora. I nostri desideri tendono ad Allah”.

E se quegli ipocriti che ti accusano di distribuire ingiustamente le elemosine fossero stati soddisfatti di ciò che Allāh ha imposto loro e di ciò che il Suo Messaggero ha dato loro, e avessero detto: " Ci è sufficiente Allāh: Allāh ci concederà le grazie che vuole , ed il Suo Messaggero ci concederà ciò che Allāh gli ha concesso; in verità, noi ci rivolgiamo solo ad Allāh, che ci concede la Sua grazia" , se avessero detto ciò sarebbe stato meglio per loro, invece di mostrare malcontento.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

E, se eles se agradassem do que Allah e Seu Mensageiro lhes concedem, e dissessem: Allah basta-nos; Allah conceder-nos-á algo de Seu favor, e também Seu Mensageiro! Por certo, a Allah estamos rogando, ser-lhes-ia melhor.

59. Pero más les valdría contentarse con lo que Al-lah y Su Mensajero les ofrecen y decir: «Al-lah nos basta, Él nos concederá de Su favor, y también lo hará Su Mensajero; anhelamos que Al-lah (nos enriquezca con Sus gracias)».

If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, "Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah," [it would have been better for them].
