﴿وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دِيَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ﴾
[ هود: 67]

Il Grido investì quelli che erano stati ingiusti e li lasciò bocconi nelle loro case,

Un forte suono colpì il popolo di Thamūd tale la sua intensità, ed eccoli morti, distesi sui loro volti poggiati al suolo,

67. Un gran estruendo[377] alcanzó a quienes habían sido injustos (por desmentir a su mensajero), y amanecieron tendidos muertos en sus hogares,

[377] Puede hacer referencia a un grito del ángel Gabriel —la paz de Al-lah esté con él— o a un ruido ensordecedor procedente del cielo que provocó un terremoto en el que murieron los injustos (ver la aleya 78 de la sura 7).
