They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely (26:116)

﴿قَالُوا لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ﴾
[ الشعراء: 116]

26:116 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."

His people said to him, “If you do not stop calling towards what you’re calling us towards, you will definitely be harrassed and stoned to death.
”

They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)."

phonetic Transliteration

Qaloo lain lam tantahi ya noohu latakoonanna mina almarjoomeena

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)."

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh you will surely be among those stoned."
