﴿مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ﴾
[ النحل: 117]
16:117 [It is but] a brief enjoyment, and they will have a painful punishment.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey will have a brief and insignificant enjoyment by following their desires in the world and on the Day of Judgment they will receive a painful punishment.

A passing brief enjoyment (will be theirs), but they will have a painful torment.

(In such falsehood) is but a paltry profit; but they will have a most grievous Penalty.
