And never think of those who have been killed in the cause (3:169)

﴿وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ﴾
[ آل عمران: 169]

3:169 And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,

Do not think, O Prophet, that those who have been killed struggling for the sake of Allah are dead.
Rather, they are alive with their Lord in His generosity, provided with blessings that we do not know about.

Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.

phonetic Transliteration

Wala tahsabanna allatheena qutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaon AAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord;

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

Think not of those as dead who are killed in the way of Allah. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.
