﴿۞ وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ نَبَأُ الْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا الْمِحْرَابَ﴾
[ ص: 21]
38:21 And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber -
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishO Messenger, has the news of the two disputants come to you, when they climbed upon the place of worship of David ( peace be upon him )?

And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (a praying place or a private room,).

Wahal ataka nabao alkhasmi ith tasawwaroo almihraba

Has the Story of the Disputants reached thee? Behold, they climbed over the wall of the private chamber;
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And has the news of the litigants reached you When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (private chamber of worship);
