﴿قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ﴾
[ آل عمران: 31]

English - Sahih International

3:31 Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

O Prophet, say: If you really love Allah, then follow what I have brought, on the inside and the outside.
By doing this, you will gain Allah’s love and He will forgive your sins.
Allah is Forgiving and Merciful to those who repent to Him.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
