﴿فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 32]

23:32 And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

I sent to them a messenger from amongst them: Hud, who would call them towards Allah.
He said to them, “O my people! Worship Allah only; you do not have any true deity except Him, may He be glorified.
Will you not be mindful of Allah by fulfilling His commands and refraining from His prohibitions?”

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And We sent to them a Messenger from among themselves (saying): "Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him. Will you not then be afraid (of Him i.e. of His Punishment because of worshipping others besides Him)?"

Faarsalna feehim rasoolan minhum ani oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona

And We sent to them a messenger from among themselves, (saying), "Worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. Will ye not fear (Him)?"
