But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and (79:40)

﴿وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ﴾
[ النازعات: 40]

79:40 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,

( ) & .
And as for the one who feared his standing before his Lord and stopped himself from following his desires that were made impermissible by Allah, then Paradise is his abode he will take shelter towards.

But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts.

Waama man khafa maqama rabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa

And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires,

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and forbade himself from desire.
