Verse 42 from surah Al-Hajj

﴿وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَثَمُودُ﴾
[ الحج: 42]

English - Sahih International

22:42 And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud deny [their prophets],

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

O Messenger, if your people reject you, be patient.
You are not the first messenger to be rejected by his people.
Before your people, the people of Noah rejected Noah, Aad rejected Hud and Thamud rejected Salih.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And if they belie you (O Muhammad SAW), so were belied the Prophets before them, (by) the people of Nuh (Noah), 'Ad and Thamud,

Wain yukaththibooka faqad kaththabat qablahum qawmu noohin waAAadun wathamoodu

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

If they treat thy (mission) as false, so did the peoples before them (with their prophets),- the People of Noah, and 'Ad and Thamud;
