surah Kahf aya 54 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِلنَّاسِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ أَكْثَرَ شَيْءٍ جَدَلًا﴾
[ الكهف: 54]
18:54 And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from every [kind of] example; but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishI have explained in different ways, in this Qur’ān that was revealed to Muhammad ( peace be upon him ), many types of examples so that they will take a lesson and pay heed.
But the thing that is most apparent in man - especially the disbeliever - is to wrongfully argue.

And indeed We have put forth every kind of example in this Quran, for mankind. But, man is ever more quarrelsome than anything.

Walaqad sarrafna fee hatha alqurani lilnnasi min kulli mathalin wakana alinsanu akthara shayin jadalan

We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious.

And indeed We have given every kind of example in this Qur'an for mankind. But, man is ever more quarrelsome than anything.
