surah Naml aya 71 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ﴾
[ النمل: 71]
27:71 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe disbelievers amongst your people who deny the resurrection say: “When will the punishment you and the believers promise us occur, if you are true in what you claim of that?”
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?"
phonetic Transliteration
Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful."
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And they say: "When this promise, if you are truthful"
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
27:71 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you translate in arabic
Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
And in their challenge to the occurrence of punishment they say: When will that promised punishment come to pass if indeed you are declaring the truth
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(27:71) They say, "When will this threat be carried out if you are truthful?" *88
And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you meaning
*88) The same threat which is implied in the preceding verse. What they meant was: "When will the scourge with which you threaten us overtake us? Why are we not being punished when we have not only rejected you but have also done whatever we could to frustrate your mission'?"

وہ کہتے ہیں کہ "یہ دھمکی کب پُوری ہو گی اگر تم سچے ہو؟"
