Verse 88 from surah Al-Qasas

﴿وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۘ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ ۚ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ﴾
[ القصص: 88]

English - Sahih International

28:88 And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

And do not worship alongside Allah any god besides Him.
There is no true god besides Him.
Everything will perish besides His Face.
For Him alone is the judgment; He judges as He wishes.
And to Him alone you will be returned on the day of judgment to be reckoned and rewarded.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Everything will perish save His Face. His is the Decision, and to Him you (all) shall be returned.

phonetic Transliteration

Wala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara la ilaha illa huwa kullu shayin halikun illa wajhahu lahu alhukmu wailayhi turjaAAoona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

And call not, besides Allah, on another god. There is no god but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will ye (all) be brought back.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And invoke not any other god along with Allah, La ilaha illa Huwa. Everything will perish save His Face. His is the decision, and to Him you shall be returned.
