Surah Al Isra ayat 41 Tafsir Quran 17:41

﴿وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 41]

17:41 And We have certainly diversified [the contents] in this Qur'an that mankind may be reminded, but it does not increase the disbelievers except in aversion.

And verily We have dispensed We have elucidated in this Qur’ān similitudes promises of reward and threats of retribution so that they may remember that they may be admonished but it that elucidation only increases them in aversion to the Truth.

We have expounded and oriented Our revelations in this Quran to circumstances and requirements so as to bring them -the infidels- to their senses, yet they do what is contrary to that normally expected. They push themselves away from it with an averted state of mind and feelings and with a mental attitude of opposition and repugnance

And surely, We have explained in this Qur'an that they may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion.) Allah say ( 41 ) وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ ( And surely, We have explained in this Qur'an ) meaning, 'We have explained Our warnings so that they may remember the proof, evidence and exhortations contained therein, and be prevented from Shirk, wrong-doing and scandal.' وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ ( but it increases them in naught ) the wrong-doers among them إِلَّا نُفُورًا ( save aversion. ) aversion towards the truth; they go further away from it.

And surely, We have explained in this Qur'an that they may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion.) ( We verily have displayed ) We have indeed explained ( in this Qur’an ) Our promises and warnings ( that they may take heed ) that they may be admonished, ( but it ) the threat of the Qur’an ( increaseth them in naught save aversion ) from faith.

And surely, We have explained [Our Promises, Warnings and (set forth many) examples] in this Quran that they (the disbelievers) may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion.
