Surah Sad ayat 58 Tafsir Quran 38:58

﴿وَآخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِ أَزْوَاجٌ﴾
[ ص: 58]

38:58 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds.

and other ākhar may be plural or singular kinds of torment resembling it in other words like the boiling water and pus mentioned in pairs of all sorts in other words their chastisement will consist of various kinds.

In addition to other decoctions of similar sort

( And other (torment ) of the kind) of burning heat and ice cold draught ( in pairs (the two extremes )!) different kinds of torment. Allah will cast them in the Fire one after another, in order of merit, whenever a generation of people enters it, they curse those who entered the Fire before them.

And other torments of similar kind, all together!
