surah Araf aya 117 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۖ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 117]
7:117 And We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it devoured what they were falsifying.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAllah then inspired Prophet Moses ( peace be upon him ): 'Throw your stick O Moses!' So he threw it and the stick changed into a snake and swallowed the ropes and sticks the magicians were using instead of real snakes; destroying for the people the illusion that these were crawling snakes.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Throw your stick," and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed.

Waawhayna ila moosa an alqi AAasaka faitha hiya talqafu ma yafikoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
We put it into Moses's mind by inspiration: "Throw (now) thy rod": and behold! it swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And We revealed to Musa (saying): "Throw your stick," and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehood which they showed.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

There and then did We inspire Mussa to cast his staff upon the ground and there, it counter-worked their ingenious expedient and swallowed all that they cast upon the ground of fraudulent devices of a mean and deceptive kind

(7:117) Then We directed Moses: 'Now you throw your rod.' And lo! it swallowed up all their false devices. *90
And We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it meaning
*90). It would be a mistake to believe that the rod of Moses swallowed up the rods and ropes cast by the other sorcerers and which had looked like serpents. The Qur'anic statement means that the rod of Moses swallowed up the falsehood faked by them. This clearly shows that wherever Moses' rod moved, it destroyed the magical effect which had caused the transformation of their ropes and rods. One blow of Moses' rod caused every other rod to revert to a rod, and every rope to revert to a rope. (For further elaboration see Tafhim al-Qur'an, Ta Ha 20, n. 42)

ہم نے موسیٰؑ کو اشارہ کیا کہ پھینک اپنا عصا اس کا پھینکنا تھا کہ آن کی آن میں وہ ان کے اس جھوٹے طلسم کو نگلتا چلا گیا
