﴿وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ﴾
[ الزمر: 12]
39:12 And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishHe has instructed me to be the first of those who surrender and submit to Him from this nation.

"And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam."
