surah Muzammil aya 16 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَعَصَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذًا وَبِيلًا﴾
[ المزمل: 16]
73:16 But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We seized him with a ruinous seizure.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishBut Pharaoh went against the messenger who was sent to him from his Lord, so I punished him with a severe punishment in the world by drowning and in the afterlife by the punishment of the fire.
So you do not go against your messenger or you will be afflicted by what afflicted him.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
But Fir'aun (Pharaoh) disobeyed the Messenger [Musa (Moses)], so We seized him with a severe punishment.
