So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to (28:24)

﴿فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰ إِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ﴾
[ القصص: 24]

28:24 So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."

So he felt pity for them and watered their livestock for them.
He then took shelter in the shade and rested there, beseeching Allah and presenting his need to him, saying, “O my Lord! Indeed I am for any and every goodness you send down to me in dire need for and it is my only recourse.
”

So he watered (their flocks) for them, then he turned back to shade, and said: "My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!"

phonetic Transliteration

Fasaqa lahuma thumma tawalla ila alththilli faqala rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

So he watered (their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade, and said:"O my Lord! truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!"

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

So he watered (their flocks) for them, then he turned back to shade, and said: "My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!"
