﴿قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ﴾
[ القلم: 29]
68:29 They said, "Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey said, “Glory be to our Lord; indeed, we wronged ourselves when we decided to prevent the poor from the crops of our garden.
”

They said: "Glory to Our Lord! Verily, we have been Zalimun (wrong-doers, etc.)."

Qaloo subhana rabbina inna kunna thalimeena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They said: "Glory to our Lord! Verily we have been doing wrong!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They said: "Glory to Our Lord! Verily, we have been wrongdoers."
