﴿وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ﴾
[ الانفطار: 4]
82:4 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishWhen the soil of graves is turned over to resurrect the dead in them.

And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents)

Waitha alqubooru buAAthirat

And when the Graves are turned upside down;-
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And when the graves Bu`thirat.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
82:4 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, translate in arabic

*2) In the first three verses, the first stage of the Resurrection has been mentioned, and in this verse the second stage is being described. "Opening of the graves" implies resurrection of the dead then.
