11:49 That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThis story of Noah is from the news of the Ghaib, which the Messenger ( peace be upon him )did not know beforehand, and his people did not have knowledge of it either before this revelation from Allah.
Allah tells him to be patient in the face of the injury and rejection of his people, just as Noah ( peace be upon him ) was patient.
Help and victory is for those who follow what Allah instructs and who stay away from what He has prohibited.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to meaning
*53). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) is consoled by the statement that in the same way that Noah (peace be on him) and his righteous people ultimately succeeded, so will he and his Companions. It is God's law that the opponents of the truth seem to achieve some measure of success in the beginning. But ultimate success is the lot of those who, out of their God-fearing, avoid all erroneous ways while seeking to serve the cause of the truth. The import of the story, therefore, is that the believers should not feel heart-broken by their ephemeral sufferings or the successes of their opponents. Instead, they should persevere, with courage and fortitude, in their struggle for the cause of the truth.
