surah Ahzab aya 67 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا﴾
[ الأحزاب: 67]
33:67 And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThese people will come up with a false, weak excuse when they will say: “O our Lord! Indeed, we obeyed our leaders and the elders of our tribes and they led us astray from the straight path.
”
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way.

Waqaloo rabbana inna ataAAna sadatana wakubaraana faadalloona alssabeela
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the way."
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
