surah Kahf aya 91 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿كَذَٰلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًا﴾
[ الكهف: 91]
18:91 Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThis is the matter of Dhu’l-Qarnayn, and My knowledge has encompassed the power and strength he had.

So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnain).
phonetic Transliteration
Kathalika waqad ahatna bima ladayhi khubran
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
(He left them) as they were: We completely understood what was before him.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnayn).
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
