जिस जिन तुम उसे देखोगे, हाल यह होगा कि प्रत्येक दूध पिलानेवाली अपने दूध पीते बच्चे को भूल जाएगी और प्रत्येक गर्भवती अपना गर्भभार रख देगी। और लोगों को तुम नशे में देखोगे, हालाँकि वे नशे में न होंगे, बल्कि अल्लाह की यातना है ही बड़ी कठोर चीज़

Quran Urdu translation

(اے مخاطب) جس دن تو اس کو دیکھے گا (اُس دن یہ حال ہوگا کہ) تمام دودھ پلانے والی عورتیں اپنے بچوں کو بھول جائیں گی۔ اور تمام حمل والیوں کے حمل گر پڑیں گے۔ اور لوگ تجھ کو متوالے نظر آئیں گے مگر وہ متوالے نہیں ہوں گے بلکہ (عذاب دیکھ کر) مدہوش ہو رہے ہوں گے۔ بےشک خدا کا عذاب بڑا سخت ہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(22:2) On the Day you behold it, you will see that every suckling woman will forsake her suckling, *2 and every pregnant female will cast her burden, and the people will appear to you to be intoxicated, though they will not be drunk, but the dreadful torment from Allah will be such (as to make them reel like drunkards *3 ).

On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted meaning

*2) This is to show the intensity and honor of the earthquake. At that time there will be so much confusion acid terror that mothers will forsake their dear children at the very time they will be suckling them.
*3) It should be noted that it is not meant to depict here the condition of the Resurrection but to impress upon the people the dreadful torment of the Hour in order to admonish them to mend their ways. This is supported by the subsequent passage.
