Non hanno viaggiato sulla terra e osservato quel che avvenne a coloro - sura Ghafir Versetto 21

﴿۞ أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوا هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَآثَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍ﴾
[ غافر: 21]

Non hanno viaggiato sulla terra e osservato quel che avvenne a coloro che li precedettero, che pure erano più potenti di loro e [lasciarono] maggiori vestigia sulla terra? Li afferrò Allah a causa dei loro peccati e non ebbero protettore alcuno contro Allah.

Questi idolatri non vagano forse in terra così da riflettere su quale fu la fine dei popoli che rinnegarono prima di loro?! Il loro destino fu infausto.
Quei popoli erano più forti di questi e costruirono in terra più opere di quante ne abbiano costruite costoro; Allāh le distrusse a causa dei loro peccati e nessuno fu in grado di salvarli dalla punizione di Allāh.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

E não caminharam na terra, para olhar como foi o fim dos que foram antes deles? Aqueles foram mais veementes que estes, em força e em vestígios deixados na terra; então, Allah apanhou-os, por seus delitos, e não tiveram, contra o castigo de Allah, protetor.

Spanish - Noor International

21. ¿Acaso no recorren la tierra y observan cuál fue el final de quienes los precedieron (y reflexionan sobre ello)? Eran mucho más fuertes que ellos y dejaron más vestigios sobre la tierra (de su poder), pero Al-lah los castigó por sus pecados, y no tuvieron quién los protegiera fuera de Él.

English - Sahih International

Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector.
