﴿قَالُوا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ﴾
[ يس: 16]
36:16 They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe three messengers said in response to the denial by the people of the town: Our Lord knows that we have been sent by Him to you, O people of the town! That is enough evidence for us.

The Messengers said: "Our Lord knows that we have been sent as Messengers to you,

Qaloo rabbuna yaAAlamu inna ilaykum lamursaloona

They said: "Our Lord doth know that we have been sent on a mission to you:
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
The Messengers said: "Our Lord knows that we have been sent as Messengers to you,"
