surah Muddathir aya 24 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَقَالَ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ﴾
[ المدثر: 24]
74:24 And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others].
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishHe said: This what Muhammad brought is not Allah’s speech, but it is sorcery that he relates from others.

Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old;

Faqala in hatha illa sihrun yutharu
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old;
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old,
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Then he said This is nothing but sorcery assumed by Muhammad from the fables of those of old
