surah Al Fath aya 26 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
48:26 When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism - the chauvinism of the time of ignorance. But Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and imposed upon them the word of righteousness, and they were more deserving of it and worthy of it. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishRemember when those who disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger harboured in their hearts the pride of ignorance; an ignorance that was linked to desires and not the truth.
They haughtily rejected the entrance of the Messenger of Allah ( peace be upon him ) into Makkah the year of the treaty of Ḥudaybīyyah, fearing and blaming him that he would overpower them and take control over it.
Therefore, Allah sent down tranquility from Himself upon the His Messenger and upon the believers so their anger did not lead to them confronting the idolaters with the same actions.
Allah made the believers firm upon the statement of truth, i.
e.
‘There is none worthy of worship except for Allah’, and kept them firm upon fulfilling its rights which they fulfilled.
The believers were more worthy of this statement than others, and more deserving of it because of the goodness within their hearts that Allah knew of.
And Allah is aware of everything; nothing is hidden from Him.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
When those who disbelieve had put in their hearts pride and haughtiness the pride and haughtiness of the time of ignorance, then Allah sent down His Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) upon His Messenger (SAW) and upon the believers, and made them stick to the word of piety (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and they were well entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
While the Unbelievers got up in their hearts heat and cant - the heat and cant of ignorance,- Allah sent down His Tranquillity to his Messenger and to the Believers, and made them stick close to the command of self-restraint; and well were they entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
When those who disbelieve had put in their hearts pride and haughtiness -- the pride and haughtiness of the time of ignorance, -- then Allah sent down His calmness and tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and made them stick to the word of Taqwa; and they were well entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything.

48:26 When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism - the translate in arabic
While the infidels cherished the violent feeling and furious passion of paganism and national ignorance, Allah inspired peace and tranquility to His Messenger and to the faithful believers whose hearts He imprinted with the image of religious and spiritual virtues and whose works with wisdom and whose words with piety; virtues they merit and of right belong to them, Allah has always been Alimun (Omniscient) of all things in all respects
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(48:26) (This is why) when the unbelievers set in their hearts a fierce bigotry ' the bigotry of ignorance *45 ' Allah bestowed inner peace upon His Messenger and upon the believers *46 and made the word of piety binding on them. They were more deserving and worthier thereof. Allah has knowledge of everything.
When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism - the meaning
*45) The words hamiyyat al -jahiliyyah mean that a man should wilfully do something unworthy and improper only for the sake of his honour and prestige. The dilsbelievers of Makkah themselves acknowledged and admitted that everybody ,had a right to visit the Ka`bah for performing Hajj and `Umrah, and that they had no right to slop anyone from this duty. This was an ancient admitted law of Arabia. But in spite of knowing that they were absolutely in the wrong and the Muslims in the right, they prevented the Muslims from performing `Umrah only for the sake of their prestige. The righteous even among the polytheists also were saving that preventing the people who had come in the pilgrim garbs along with sacrificial camels from performing pilgrimage was an improper act. Yet the Quraish leaders persisted in their resistance only under the idea that if Muhammad (upon whom be Allah's peace) entered Makkah along with a large number of his followers, it would mean loss of prestige for them among the Arabs. This was their arrogance. .
*46) Here, sakinat means the patience and dignity with which the Holy Prophet and the Muslims resisted the disbelievers' rancour and spirit of paganism. They did not get provoked at their stubborn and insolent behaviour and did not do anything which might have violated the spirit of Truth and righteousness, or which might have further complicated the situation instead of settling it amicably.
