They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called (21:60)

﴿قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا فَتًى يَذْكُرُهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 60]

21:60 They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham."

Those who had heard Abraham take an oath on Allah that he would plot against the idols, said, “We heard a young man talk evil regarding them and finding fault with them.
He is known by the name ‘Abraham’; perhaps it is he who smashed them.
”

They said: "We heard a young man talking (against) them who is called Ibrahim (Abraham)."

phonetic Transliteration

Qaloo samiAAna fatan yathkuruhum yuqalu lahu ibraheemu

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

They said, "We heard a youth talk of them: He is called Abraham."

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

They said: "We heard a young man talking against them, who is called Ibrahim."
