Surah Qalam ayat 19 Tafsir Quran 68:19

﴿فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ﴾
[ القلم: 19]

68:19 So there came upon the garden an affliction from your Lord while they were asleep.

Then a visitation from your Lord visited it that is a fire consumed it during the night while they slept.

But the orchard was visited by a divine dispensation which did away with it at one blow while they were asleep

قَالُواْ سُبْحَـنَ رَبّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَـلِمِينَ- فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَـوَمُونَ- قَالُواْ يوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَـغِينَ- عَسَى رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْراً مّنْهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَى رَبّنَا رغِبُونَ- كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الاْخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ-

( Then a visitation ) a punishment from your Lord ( came upon it ) upon the garden ( while they slept ) and was burned.

Then there passed by on the (garden) something (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep.
