Inner Peace (Psychological Peace) in the Holy Quran

﴿۞ لَهُمۡ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾ [Al-An‘ām: 127]

(127) For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

Surah: Al-An‘ām - Verse: 127 - Juz: 8 - Page: 144

﴿۞ وَإِن جَنَحُواْ لِلسَّلۡمِ فَٱجۡنَحۡ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ﴾ [Al-Anfāl: 61]

(61) And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Surah: Al-Anfāl - Verse: 61 - Juz: 10 - Page: 184

﴿ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ يَهۡدِيهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَٰنِهِمۡۖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهِمُ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ * دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ فِيهَا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمۡ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٞۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ أَنِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾ [Yūnus: 9-10]

(9) Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure

(10) Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!"

Surah: Yūnus - Verse: 9-10 - Juz: 11 - Page: 209

﴿سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُم بِمَا صَبَرۡتُمۡۚ فَنِعۡمَ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ ﴾ [Ar-Ra‘d: 24]

(24) "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home."

Surah: Ar-Ra‘d - Verse: 24 - Juz: 13 - Page: 252

﴿لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ رِزۡقُهُمۡ فِيهَا بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا ﴾ [Maryam: 62]

(62) They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.

Surah: Maryam - Verse: 62 - Juz: 16 - Page: 309

﴿لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَاۖ وَهُمۡ فِي مَا ٱشۡتَهَتۡ أَنفُسُهُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾ [Al-Anbiyā’: 102]

(102) They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.

Surah: Al-Anbiyā’ - Verse: 102 - Juz: 17 - Page: 331

﴿وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنٗا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا ﴾ [Al-Furqān: 63]

(63) And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,

Surah: Al-Furqān - Verse: 63 - Juz: 19 - Page: 365

﴿تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ سَلَٰمٞۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا كَرِيمٗا ﴾ [Al-Aḥzāb: 44]

(44) Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.

Surah: Al-Aḥzāb - Verse: 44 - Juz: 22 - Page: 424

﴿وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡجَنَّةِ زُمَرًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ طِبۡتُمۡ فَٱدۡخُلُوهَا خَٰلِدِينَ ﴾ [Az-Zumar: 73]

(73) But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter].

Surah: Az-Zumar - Verse: 73 - Juz: 24 - Page: 466

﴿إِلَّا قِيلٗا سَلَٰمٗا سَلَٰمٗا ﴾ [Al-Wāqi‘ah: 26]

(26) Only a saying: "Peace, peace."

Surah: Al-Wāqi‘ah - Verse: 26 - Juz: 27 - Page: 535
