surah Qalam aya 33 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿كَذَٰلِكَ الْعَذَابُ ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ القلم: 33]
68:33 Such is the punishment [of this world]. And the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishI punish those who disobey Me just like I punished these people with the punishment of depravation.
And indeed, the punishment of the afterlife is greater, if only they were to know its severity and permanence.
