surah Mutaffifin aya 33 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَ﴾
[ المطففين: 33]
83:33 But they had not been sent as guardians over them.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAllah did not appoint them to guard their deeds so that they could make this statement of theirs.

But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers).

AIIah has not appointed you to be keepers over them so that you may be free to criticise and persecute those who are not harming you in any way."
