surah An Nur aya 47 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَيَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالرَّسُولِ وَأَطَعْنَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم مِّن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا أُولَٰئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾
[ النور: 47]
24:47 But the hypocrites say, "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey"; then a party of them turns away after that. And those are not believers.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd the hypocrites say, “We have believed in Allah and the Messenger, and obeyed Allah and His Messenger”, then a group from among them turns away.
So after claiming to have faith in Allah and His Messenger and obeying them, in reality they do not obey Allah and His Messenger in fulfilling the command to jihad in Allah’s way, and the like.
In truth, those who turn away from the obedience of Allah and His Messenger are not believers, despite claiming to be.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They (hypocrites) say: "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and we obey," then a party of them turn away thereafter, such are not believers.

Wayaqooloona amanna biAllahi wabialrrasooli waataAAna thumma yatawalla fareequn minhum min baAAdi thalika wama olaika bialmumineena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They say, "We believe in Allah and in the messenger, and we obey": but even after that, some of them turn away: they are not (really) Believers.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They say: "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey," then a party of them turn away thereafter, such are not believers.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Then some of them have second thoughts and their behaviour proves that their words together with their actions do not accord. They refrained from joining the faithful in serving Allahs cause They are not really faithful

(24:47) These people say "We have believed in Allah and the Messenger and we have submitted"; but soon after this, some of them turn away (from obedience): such people are not true Believers. *76
