Verse 26 from surah Al-Hajj

﴿وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَن لَّا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ﴾
[ الحج: 26]

और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब हमने इबराहीम के ज़रिये से इबरहीम के वास्ते ख़ानए काबा की जगह ज़ाहिर कर दी (और उनसे कहा कि) मेरा किसी चीज़ को शरीक न बनाना और मेरे घर को तवाफ और क़याम और रूकू सुजूद करने वालों के वास्ते साफ सुथरा रखना

16. अर्थात उसका निर्माण करने के लिए। क्योंकि नूह़ (अलैहिस्सलाम) के तूफ़ान के कारण सब बह गया था इसलिए अल्लाह ने इबराहीम (अलैहिस्सलाम) के लिए बैतुल्लाह का वास्तविक स्थान निर्धारित कर दिया। और उन्होंने अपने पुत्र इसमाईल (अलैहिस्सलाम) के साथ उसे दोबारा स्थापित किया।

याद करो जब कि हमने इबराहीम के लिए अल्लाह के घर को ठिकाना बनाया, इस आदेश के साथ कि "मेरे साथ किसी चीज़ को साझी न ठहराना और मेरे घर को तवाफ़ (परिक्रमा) करनेवालों और खड़े होने और झुकने और सजदा करनेवालों के लिए पाक-साफ़ रखना।"

(اور ایک وقت تھا) جب ہم نے ابراہیم کے لئے خانہ کعبہ کو مقرر کیا (اور ارشاد فرمایا) کہ میرے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ کیجیو اور طواف کرنے والوں اور قیام کرنے والوں اور رکوع کرنے والوں (اور) سجدہ کرنے والوں کے لئے میرے گھر کو صاف رکھا کرو

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(22:26) Recall to mind the time when We assigned the site of this House (the Ka`bah) to Abraham, saying, "Do not associate anything as a partner with Me; keep My House clean and pure *45 for those who go round it and for those who stand and bow down and prostrate (in worship),

*45) Some commentators opine that the address to Prophet Abraham ends with v. 26 and say that the Command contained in v. 27 was addressed to the Holy Prophet; but this opinion does not fit in with the context. For it is obvious that this Command also was addressed to Prophet Abraham when he had built the Ka`bah. Moreover, the command implies that the House of Allah had been built for the worship of One Allah and there was general permission from the very first day for all worshippers to visit it for performing Hajj.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate.

যখন আমি ইব্রাহীমকে বায়তুল্লাহর স্থান ঠিক করে দিয়েছিলাম যে, আমার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করো না এবং আমার গৃহকে পবিত্র রাখ তাওয়াফকারীদের জন্যে, নামাযে দন্ডায়মানদের জন্যে এবং রকু সেজদাকারীদের জন্যে।

  2. और अपने परवरदिगार से अपनी मग़फिरत की दुआ माँगों फिर उसी की बारगाह में तौबा
  3. सारे आसमान व ज़मीन में जितनी चीज़े हैं सब की सब खुदा के सामने बन्दा
  4. मगर (हॉ) जिन लोगों ने इसके बाद तौबा कर ली और अपनी (ख़राबी की) इस्लाह
  5. तो उस दिन न तो किसी इन्सान से उसके गुनाह के बारे में पूछा जाएगा
  6. सुबह व शाम उसकी तसबीह करते रहो
  7. जिन लोगों ने अपने परवरदिगार का कहना माना उनके लिए बहुत बेहतरी है और जिन
  8. तो (ऐ रसूल) पैग़म्बरों में से जिस तरह अव्वलुल अज्म (आली हिम्मत), सब्र करते रहे
  9. इन्सान को तो जब कोई बुराई छू गयी बस वह लगा हमसे दुआएँ माँगने, फिर
  10. और इनको देखते रहो तो ये लोग अनक़रीब ही (अपना नतीजा) देख लेगे
