स्वादिष्ट फल।

Quran Urdu translation

(یعنی) میوے اور ان کا اعزاز کیا جائے گا

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(37:42) a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured *23

Fruits; and they will be honored meaning

*23) In this there is a subtle allusion to this also that in Paradise food will be provided not to serve as food but for pleasure and delight. That is, the food there will not be meant to replenish the bodily deficiencies through diet, for no deficiency whatever will occur in the body in that eternal life, nor will man have appetite, for appetite is caused by the process of assimilation in the body, nor will the body demand food for its survival. That is why the word fawakih has been used for the different kinds of food in Paradise, which contains the sense of taste and pleasure more than that of nutrition.

  2. वही तो है जिसने ज़मीन को तुम्हारे लिए नरम (व हमवार) कर दिया तो उसके
  3. और (ऐ रसूल) अगर हम कागज़ पर (लिखी लिखाई) किताब (भी) तुम पर नाज़िल करते
  4. तुम लोग तो ख़ुदा को छोड़कर बस उन चन्द नामों ही को परसतिश करते हो
  5. लानत के मारे जहाँ कहीं हत्थे चढ़े पकड़े गए और फिर बुरी तरह मार डाले
  6. और अगर तुम लोग खुदा और उसके रसूल और आखेरत के घर की ख्वाहॉ हो
  7. वहाँ वह तख्तों पर तकिए लगाए (बैठे) होंगे न वहाँ (आफताब की) धूप देखेंगे और
  8. क्या उनके लिए ये काफी नहीं कि हमने तुम पर क़ुरान नाज़िल किया जो उनके
  9. उसका क़ौल सच्चा है और जिस दिन सूर फूंका जाएगा (उस दिन) ख़ास उसी की
  10. और हमने उसी जगह दूसरे फरीक (फिरऔन के साथी) को क़रीब कर दिया
