E quante città distruggemmo, che pure erano più potenti della tua città - sura Muhammad Versetto 13

﴿وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ﴾
[ محمد: 13]

E quante città distruggemmo, che pure erano più potenti della tua città che ti ha bandito. Non ebbero nessun soccorritore.

E quanti villaggi dei popoli del passato, più potenti, ricchi e con più figli del popolo della Mekkah, da cui ti hanno esiliato, distruggemmo, quando smentirono i loro messaggeri, e non trovarono sostenitore che potesse salvarli dalla punizione di Allāh che subirono; nulla può impedirci di distruggere la gente della Mekkah, se solo volessimo.

E quantas cidades, mais fortes que tua cidade que te fez sair, aniquilamos! E não houve, para eles, socorredor algum.

13. Y cuántas ciudades más poderosas que la que te expulsó (oh, Muhammad!) destruimos y no tuvieron quién los socorriera!

English - Sahih International

And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.
