﴿رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ﴾
[ آل عمران: 53]

English - Sahih International

3:53 Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

The disciples also said: Our Lord, we have believed in the Gospel that you revealed and we have followed the messenger, Jesus ( peace be upon him ), so make us of those who are witnesses to the truth and who have faith in You and Your messengers.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger ['Iesa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah - none has the right to be worshipped but Allah).

"Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Messenger; then write us down among those who bear witness."
