surah Hud aya 68 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ ثَمُودَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِّثَمُودَ﴾
[ هود: 68]
11:68 As if they had never prospered therein. Unquestionably, Thamud denied their Lord; then, away with Thamud.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishIt was as if they had never lived in their land in comfort and ease.
Certainly, Thamūd disbelieved in Allah, their Lord, and so they remain outcasts from His mercy.

As if they had never lived there. No doubt! Verily, Thamud disbelieved in their Lord. So away with Thamud!

Kaan lam yaghnaw feeha ala inna thamooda kafaroo rabbahum ala buAAdan lithamooda

As if they had never dwelt and flourished there. Ah! Behold! for the Thamud rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were the Thamud!
